The pitches weren’t fastballs or sliders. They were sales pitches aimed at winning over investors.
Presented by students in the first ever Junior Achievement of Western Massachusetts Business and Entrepreneurial Exploration Program, a five-week summer program for middle grade and high school students, dozens of hopeful entrepreneurs pitched their products and companies to a panel of judges at the UMass Springfield Center at Tower Square on Thursday.
There were eyeglass holders, desk organizers, picture frame substitutes, portable speakers for cellphones, candles and more. Read Full Article
