Once again, Junior Achievement of Western Massachusetts was fortunate to receive a grant from the UPS Foundation, to deliver JA Be Entrepreneurial programs at selected area schools including Putnam Vocational Technical Academy, Chicopee High, CHD, East Longmeadow High School and the JA BEE Summer Program. JA Be Entrepreneurial focuses on challenging students, through interactive classroom activities, to start their own entrepreneurial venture while still in school. “The teachers and students thoroughly enjoyed JA Be Entrepreneurial because it inspires their creative side and ignites ideas for their future,” noted Jennifer Connolly, president of JA of Western Massachusetts. “Because of the UPS Foundation’s commitment to JA and entrepreneurship over 180 students will have the tools to start planning their own business!”
