Celebrity bartending fundraiser at Loophole Brewing in Springfield benefits Junior Achievement

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A Springfield non-profit held a celebrity bartending fundraising event Wednesday night to help support young kids.
Junior Achievement of Western Massachusetts hosted the event at Loophole Brewing. This year’s celebrities included Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno, Hampden County Sheriff Nicholas Cocchi, Al Kasper from Savage Arms, and President of the Springfield Thunderbirds Nate Costa.
The following were some other celebrity bartenders throughout the evening:
- Senators Jake Oliveira and Adam Gomez
- Kristin Carlson from Peerless Precision
- President and CEO of the Polish National Credit Union Jim Kelly
- Jeff Goulet from Loophole Brewing
- Mike “Bax” Baxendale from WAQY Rock 102
- Meghan Rothschild from Chik Media
- Brian Houser from Balise Motor Group
- Dan Moriarity from Monson Savings Bank
- Jeremy Casey from SR Commercial Realty
- Chris Marion from Chris Marion Photography
- Amy Jamrog from the Jamrog Group
- Matt Maguire from People’s Bank
Money will support financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship programs for local youth. “It’s important for students to have the skillset and the mindset they need to critically think and make life decisions and have that tool kit ready for them when they need it,” said the President of Junior Achievement of Western Massachusetts, Amie Miarecki.
Junior Achievement programs are offered at no cost to schools and community groups throughout western Massachusetts. The organization hopes to raise at least $10,000.
